The Independent Contractor position requires you to travel to families homes and treat them for head lice. You will be trained to perform our trademarked technique and lice removal skills. This will allow you to effectively treat head lice in about 1-2 hours per person using all natural Nit Picky lice treatment products. This process usually takes a parent 4-10 hours plus the use of harsh pesticide filled lice shampoos to do on their own. This is an on call position, meaning that you will receive appointments from Nit Picky and are required to go out on the same day and service the customer.

Hours: We do not guarantee a set amount of hours. A typical week can include anywhere from 5-25 hours per week based upon the demand in your area, your availability and your willingness to travel.

Scheduling: You make your own flexible schedule. It is highly recommended that a block of time is set aside daily to ensure that you will have an opportunity to receive appointments. The ideal availability is 3 pm and after including weekends, if you have an open schedule then you will have an opportunity to maximize the amount of appointments that you may receive.

Travel:  The further you are willing to travel the more appointments you will receive. You will use your own vehicle and must have a reliable transportation and vehicle insurance.  

(Recommended travel is up to an hour away, we typically do not request you to take appointments over an hour away. Travel Bonuses will be discussed for certain distances.)

Products:  A kit will be provided to you after your training session so that you can get started. The kit requires a refundable deposit.

Compensation: To Be Discussed. Hourly pay on a weekly basis.

Travel Bonuses: Provided for appointments 30 minutes or more away. 

Prevention: Yes, head lice can be prevented. 

Training: You will be required to go through an online training process.
