Head Lice, The Gift That Keeps On Giving

The holidays are over, the decorations are taken down and stored away, and the children are back in school. We have a little surprise for you, there is still a gift that can arrive at your home unexpectedly after the holiday season. It is not a gift that you will enjoy, unfortunately there will not be an option to return to sender. It is the gift given from a good friend, neighbor, or relative and is received through a loving gesture, a hug at a family gathering. You will not know the gift has been exchanged until three to six weeks after you have recieved it. Unknowingly, children will take this gift to school and share it with their friends, who will go home and share it with their families. It is the gift of head lice that will unexpectedly show up mid January through early February. Give us a call for a quick head lice screening or check your family regularly this time of year to ensure that you did not receive a special surprise during the holiday season.
