Clients tell us all the time, “I wish I would have known about you before spending all this money and time. Everything I have been doing did not work." They are unaware that there are people who get rid of head lice for you. Yes, actual companies to pick through your children's hair and get rid of those bugs and eggs for you.
So what do you do when you get the dreaded phone call that your little angel has head lice? Most moms are shocked and feel terrible that they did not notice it on their own. This is a normal reaction and in no means a reflection of mommy negligence. These bugs and their eggs camouflage to the hosts hair color so any mom with an untrained eye can easily miss them. So now that we have the feelings out of the way, it's time to take action. It's a war in your child's hair and all be it, we are going to defeat the enemy (lice of course, not your child),
It's simply easier, affordable in the long term, but most importantly effective if you hire someone to get rid of head lice for you. Of course you can d.i.y., but expect to spend money on products that lice have become resistant to and spend hours upon hours removing nits (lice eggs). This action is affectionately described as nit picking.
Professional nit pickers are trained to use natural lice treatment products and professional removal process’. An experienced lice company will be able to treat a person in 1-2 hours based off of hair type and infestation levels and inspect all family members to avoid cross contamination. Remember, the house needs to be cleaned to, so while the lice specialist is at your home taking care of your family members, you have the ability to clean and get everything nice and tidy. This of course is if you a hire a lice company to come directly to your home. You can also find a local lice salon, although it is not as private or convenient as personal in home services.
Whichever option you choose, it is important to understand your options so that you can win the war on lice. Whatever you do, ask the right questions so that you can make the choice that's right for your family. Please call us if you need further assistance. 877-888-2820
